"I learnt a tremendous amount whilst at FootballCV and the coaches there helped to make me the player I am today. I will always look on fondly at my time there and I can't thank them enough for what they taught me. I am delighted to sign an 18 month contract with Hull, this is a great opportunity for me, at a club with excellent facilities. I will be working as hard as ever to strive and progress my way towards the first team."
Calaum Jahraldo-Martin / Joined Hull City on an 18 month contract in March 2013
"When Kaine told us he had “googled” a football academy and would like to join, we as parents were faced with some serious decisions; in addition to the huge financial implications, it would mean Kaine being miles away from home at a very young age. He had just accepted a place at an excellent local 6th form which offered football opportunities and the exact academic qualification all without cost!
Faced with an enormous decision, we decided to visit the academy. At the time, this was based in a lovely countryside private lodge location with the excellent training facilities at Nene Park. We liked what we saw, but most importantly we met the residential manager Ann Dyte. Ann, husband Mick and her team ,would ultimately be responsible for our son’s welfare. Call it a mother’s instinct, but I just instantly felt comfortable with Ann. This was of paramount importance to us in our decision whether Kaine would join or not if he passed the trial and was accepted.
Our son joined CV Academy in September 2011, a week after his 16th birthday and he hasn’t looked back since!. Without a shadow of a doubt, we made the right decision.
Kaine lives for football and loved his time at Nene Park barely coming home to visit. Obviously his football improved under the guidance of the former coaching staff, Danny and Eddie . Kaine was very lucky to be awarded Players’ Player and Coaches’ Player at the end of season presentation awards.
From a parent point of view though, Kaine gained so very much more than just football; vital skills that hopefully will prepare him for adulthood , mixing with older lads from around the globe and making some really good mates. He had rules, regulations and chores to follow and gained real life experience which he would not have got if he had just gone to local 6th form.
August 2012, saw many big changes for Football CV and Kaine returned for his second year. This time based at Best Western Hotel and Steel Park, there were completely different football coaches and some new residential staff. As many of the older lads, including good mates had now moved on, I was concerned that it was a lot of changes and would Kaine still like it? My worries were completely unfounded.
Kaine totally slotted straight back in and absolutely loves it. He still lives for football 24/7 and has nothing but praise and admiration for the skilful coaches, Ian and Wayne . Kaine is learning all the time under their expert guidance.
Away from the football, Kaine particularly likes the local gym membership which is a new additional perk the boys have been given this year and because they are now based at Steel Park, there is much more to do in their free time using the local facilities. He also has driving lessons with Mick which is brilliant, as this would be extremely difficult to organize otherwise.
As Parents, we feel absolutely delighted with every single aspect of FootballCV Academy and the brilliant opportunities it has afforded Kaine.
There are curfews, rules and regulations in place which we are particularly impressed with, all of which safeguard our son. It offers excellent value for money, and most importantly all the staff, ranging from the chef, college tutor, physiotherapist and obviously the fabulous Ann & Mick Dyte, play a key role in making it a fantastic opportunity that Kaine has experienced. He will most definitely look back with great memories.
In our opinion, Football CV has a very personal, dedicated team. The Directors even get to know the parents and are always available to contact if need be. We shall be very sad when the time comes for Kaine to leave.
We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending FootballCV."

“I believe that our son Ian has benefited tremendously from his time at FootballCV both from a football and personal perspective. The level of training and competition has raised his level of play to new heights and will definitely benefit him in his future playing years. From a personal perspective I think the time on his own has helped him mature and grow into a young man. FootballCV was the right fit for our son and he’s surely grown as a footballer and person. I’ve been truly impressed by the overall setup of FootballCV from the off the field activities, overall care, education, and of course the football."

"Four Four Two have worked with FootballCV for several years now in particular with 'Weekend Wonders' where they organised for the winners to play at grounds like Upton Park.
They are the market leaders in running trials for aspiring footballers and the full-time academy they operate provides a marvelous opportunity for players to fulfil their dreams of becoming a pro player. We are delighted to be the Football Academy shirt sponsors for the 2009/10 season. We have also had the opportunity for the 442 team to play at pro clubs in corporate matches and believe our relationship will continue to go from strength to strength"

The set up here is fantastic and from what I saw the players are in very capable hands with the top quality coaching on offer. They have everything at their hands to succeed and really it is up to the players themselves to show the desire and enthusiasm to take their chance. I will be monitoring their progress with interest.”

"Jamie joined Football CV in September 2011 and within 3 months has played against professional teams on a weekly basis, has participated with Wayne Rooney in a training video and is currently on trial at Leicester City. All these opportunities would not have been possible without the intervention of FootballCV.
Our experience shows Football CV is a unique and professionally run academy, is well connected and highly respected within the football community. We have found the coaching and non coaching staff to be a highly dedicated team who do their best to enable Jamie’s dream of becoming a professional goalkeeper has the very best chance of being achieved. Due to Football CV’s comprehensive and cohesive approach, Jamie’s mental and physical attitude has greatly improved. The coaches give constructive criticism and constantly encourage Jamie to excel which he has found challenging at times but enjoyable. The facilities and level of coaching is second to none and football/goalkeeper training is undertaken daily. Football CVs hard work ethic and ethos is designed to ensure Jamie will reach his full potential and prepare him to enter the next level of his football career but in an environment which nurtures him to excel. As an added bonus, Jamie will leave the academy with a sports qualification.
We would strongly recommend any parent to make use of Football CV’s services in order to give their child the very best chance and opportunities."
Will McAlindon | Father of goalkeeper Jamie McAlindon
“Having visited the FootballCV Academy a number of times, I am pleased to see so many talented players get the chance to develop their game and to perform in front of club scouts. Terry Holbrook | Former Premier League Referee
“I would like to say a big thank you for all the help and support you have given our son Zachary Farr since he joined the FootballCV Academy in September 2009. The tuition and coaching has been outstanding and has developed Zachary's skills and performance. He came to the academy straight from school and he has matured and grown into a hardworking and motivated young man. Danny the coach, has encouraged Zachary and has been a very positive role model for him to aspire to. Furthermore, for a 16 year old living away from home for the first time, I couldn't have asked for a more stable and nurturing environment. Zachary settled in well with all the lads and Ann, the residential manager, has provided a much needed motherly and caring role for him.”
Sarah Pope, mother of sixteen year old Zach Farr, who joined Northampton Town on a two year scholarship in 2010
“I am excited to experience doing something I love in a different country and environment and I am looking forward to the challenge ahead. Whilst over in the Czech Republic last month, I did notice that the pace of the game was slower, players receive more time on the ball and technique was emphasised”. I wouldn’t have had the opportunity without the FootballCV Academy and would like to thank all the staff for the support and help given to me since I started last September. Through the coaching I have received with Danny Nicholls, Richard Scott and Andy Sinton, I have improved my decision making on the ball and learnt more about team shape and my roles within that. I am now keen to use this knowledge to continue my development at Most”.
Sam Conway |18 year old from Australia, who signed for Czech Replublic club Banik Most after just 6 months at the FootballCV Academy
“When I joined the Academy I had to work hard to break into the team, but with the help of the coaching staff I developed my techniques and held down a starting spot. The FootballCV Academy helped improve my skills allowing me to move on to my current club”.
Tyeler Norbert | Joined Oxford United in the summer of 2009
"I am writing to you to express my gratitude and appreciation for your relentless efforts in helping my son, Manny, to secure a two year scholarship with Brentford FC. Sending Manny to FCV was the best decision we've ever made. FCV provides the perfect opportunity for playing football and studying and at the same time, the discipline needed to focus and work hard to achieve his goals. Your belief in him gave him the confidence that was lacking before he joined your academy. All the coaching and residential staff helped Manny to develop to his full potentials physically, emotionally and academically. He will undoubtedly always remember all the life skills and experiences he had during his short stay at the academy. Once again, thank you for never giving up on Manny and for helping him to begin to realise his dreams."
Abi Oyeleke, mother of sixteen year old Emmanuel Oyeleke, who joined Brentford on a two year scholarship in 2010
