Excursions
Evening and weekend entertainment will include trips to watch live games in the Premier League, Football League and Conference, cinema trips, snooker, swimming, paintballing, go-karting, team building, shopping, gyms, ten-pin bowling and many other forms of entertainment.

Please also note the players are supervised for all FootballCV excursions but they are allowed off site with parental consent. All staff are CRB checked and qualified with relevant first aid and child protection certificates.
Weekends
The Academy is set-up for players to stay for seven days of the week with an excursion often planned at a weekend however if they wish players are allowed to leave the Academy at weekends with parental consent providing they return by a Sunday evening.
Meals
The FootballCV Academy caters for three meals a day, seven days a week during the academic year. Over the years we have had many international students catering for different cuisines i.e halal meat, vegetarian etc.
Religions
Many international students have attended the Academy and when required prayer rooms are supplied. We also have an Independent Listener who can talk in confidence to the players on any subject.
Student Welfare
All students who join the FootballCV Academy are registered with a local GP and dentist whilst also remaining registered with the their doctor’s back home for holiday periods.
The Academy also provides a sick room should the need arise to reduce the chances of spreading colds etc.

The Academy employs a full-time qualified physiotherapist for regular injuries and private medical cover is provided for all players which ensures immediate attention to any serious injuries picked up at the academy. Please note this will not cover for any injuries picked up before joining the academy.
The Academy also provides a Child Protection Officer and an Independent Listener.
