THE FOOTBALLCV ACADEMY | OUR HERITAGE - FOOTBALLCV.COM

Footballcv.com is the brainchild of Peter Mallinger, Graham Starmer and David Mallinger. All have been involved in the football industry for some years.

FootballCV recognised the enormous amount of letters clubs would receive from players, so set up a website for players to register their C.V.’s including a chance to list their footballing abilities.

Once registered the players details are placed on the website for managers, scouts and coaches to view using the powerful on-line search engine.

The success of the site was immediate but we wanted to do more to help the players. That was when the Trials Days were born.

The FootballCV Football Academy

The first Trials Day in 2001 provided phenomenal interest from players, clubs and the media with Sky Sports featuring the trials. Since the first Trials Day hundreds of players have gone to clubs for further trials, many of whom have now signed contracts. The trials have received media interest from Sky Sports, BBC Radio, Carlton TV, 4-4-2 magazine and many other national newspapers and magazines.

Trials Days and events have been held at the grounds of Arsenal, Newcastle United, West Ham United, Reading, Leeds United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham City, Charlton Athletic, Coventry City, Falkirk, Tranmere Rovers, MS Oslo and Leicester City and over a hundred other professional clubs.

And FootballCV has been endorsed by numerous clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United , Manchester City amongst many others.

Since 2005 footballcv.com has worked with the PFA, Football League and Football League Education running trials for released scholars and professionals.

In 2008 the Academy team became an F.A Charter Standard Club.

FootballCV has built up a good reputation since 2000. All that experience, expertise, and numerous football contacts were put together into setting up the FootballCV Academy in 2007.
