Chairman - Peter Mallinger
Current Chairman of Corby Town Football Club having previously been Chairman of Kettering Town Football Club for twelve years. Previously a director and vice-chairman of Newcastle United FC. Founded Newarke Wools Limited in 1961 as a market stall business which developed into 28 retail units throughout the country generating a £6 million turnover.
Managing Director - Graham Starmer
One of the founders and directors of footballcv.com since inception in 2000. Previously Club Secretary of Kettering Town Football Club having been Sport and Leisure Services Manager at the University College Northampton for six years. Director of Burndine Sales and Services, a family business whose main activity is business and management consultancy and is also involved in property management and investment.
Academy Team Manager - Kevin Wilson
Kevin is a former Northern Irish International footballer who played over 40 games for his country scoring 6 goals in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Having signed for his home-town team Derby County as a young professional, Kevin went on to make over 700 professional games for Ipswich Town, Chelsea, Notts County, Walsall and Northampton Town. He scored 200 career goals and was Chelsea’s Supporters Player of the Year in 1990.
Following over 15 years as a player, Kevin made the step into professional coaching and management, working for a number of teams such as Walsall, Northampton Town, Bristol Rovers, Bedford Town, Aylesbury United, Kettering Town and Hucknall Town. In the 1999/2000 season he won promotion for Northampton Town into the First Division.
Kevin has also gained the prestigious UEFA ‘A’ Coaching Licence in 2000 and Certificate in Applied Management in conjunction with the League Managers Association and the Professional Footballers Association. He is currently undertaking Europe's top coaching award, the UEFA Pro Licence, which Managers must now possess if they are to manage in the top divisions of countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany, France and England.
Academy Manager - Martin Harris
Martin has worked for footballcv.com for over five years as a coach but joined on a full-time basis in 2007 to aid in the development of the business.
Martin is a holder of the FA Coaching Certificate, Basic Treatmnent of Injury and has gained qualifications in SAQ. Martin started his coaching career at a local junior team managing and coaching youth teams at most age groups before moving onto work at Kettering Town FC. During his nine seasons at Kettering, he has worked with age groups from U10's up to and including the U18's. Whilst at the club he has been Assistant Development Officer, during which time he was fully responsible for the development of it's Junior teams from the U12's to the U16's. Martin then moved on to work within the backroom staff for the Senior Team at Kettering Town, working with the likes of Paul Gascoigne, Paul Davies and Ron Atkinson. In 2005 Martin flew to American and spent a period of time coaching in Chicago, Detriot, Indianapolis and Milwaukee. He too holds the Child Protection Certificate and CRB check.
Finance Manager - Helen Thompson
Helen Thompson has been a director of Rushden & Diamonds Football Club since the Supporters Trust took over the Club from R Griggs & Co Ltd.
Previously Helen was Operations and Human Resources Director for two large pension companies having been in the finance industry for twenty years.
Helen has a Masters degree and is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
Helen has been a supporter of local football for the past forty years and recalls serving bovril and tea at two old pennies a cup back in the 1960's!
Academy Coach - Danny Nicholls
Danny is the current Manager of Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club in the Southern Premier League and will combine this role with his position of head coach at the academy.
In recent years he has also coached at Northampton Town and Kettering Town and as a player played at semi-pro level for Bedford Town and Marlow.
Danny holds the UEFA 'B' licence and is soon to complete the UEFA 'A' licence. In addition to this he is a Level One Educator, First Aider and has completed the Child Protection Course and CRB check.
Academy Coach - Paul Holden MBE
Paul joined the academy in the summer of 2008 bringing a wealth of experience to the footballcv academy. A distinguished career to date includes previous roles as Academy Director at Crystal Palace, Director of Football for the Gibraltar FA, Youth Development Monitor for the Football League, Director of Coaching for the Armed Forces and several managerial positions at non-league level.
In 1997 Paul was awarded the MBE for Services to Football in the New Years Honour List in 1997 and holds the UEFA ‘A’ Licence, FA Academy Directors Licence and is a Member of the Order of the British Empire. He specialises in fitness and strength and conditioning coaching and is currently undertaking his UEFA Pro Licence.
Goalkeeping Coach - Tony Godden
Tony enjoyed a prolific playing career, including spells at West Bromwich Albion, Birmingham City and Chelsea. He's also had experience as a goalkeeping coach at Derby County, Northampton Town and Peterborough United.
He is also the current goalkeeping coach at Rushden & Diamonds FC where he was also Caretaker Manager for a spell during the 2006/7 season. Tony holds the prestigious The F.A. Goalkeeping Coaching A Licence.
Academy Coach - Gary Brown
Gary is a UEFA 'A' qualified coach who brings a wealth of experience having worked for the likes of Manchester City, Leicester City and Peterborough United. Gary also currently works as a scout for Tottenham Hotspur and runs the Football Development program for Hunts. Regional College and has previously scouted for Manchester United. The thirty eight year old started his career in football as a player for Blackburn Rovers and spent five years as a pro at Bolton Wanderers. As well as the UEFA 'A' coaching award Gary is a level 1 and 2 tutor and has completed the Child Protection Course and Talent Indentification Course.
Residential Warden - Peter Barnett
Peter will be the main residential warden for the academy players at the Frontier Centre. He is also an experienced coach and physiotherapist who has completed the FA's Child Protection workshop and the FA's Criminal Record Bureau. He holds the FA diploma in Sports Injury and Management, the FA Emergency Aid Certificate and a UEFA 'B' Coaching Licence. Peter has experience as a physio at Football League level with Cambridge United and other previous clubs include Kettering Town, Northants FA County sides and various semi-pro clubs.
Residential Warden - Liam Norton
Liam joined the company in November 2007 having worked at a national children's camp and activity company. Liam has also completed the FA's Child Protection workshop, the FA's Criminal Record Bureau, The FA Junior Team Manager's Certificate and Emergency Aid.
Academy Administrator - Kevin Harmer
Kevin joined the company in the Summer of 2006 following a stint as Club Secretary of a Conference Football Club. He previously attained a B.A Honours in Physical Education and Sport backed up with a Level One F.A Coaching badge, Emergency Aid Certificate, Child Protection Certificate and CRB check.
Kevin has previous experience co-ordinating numerous camps and football events and will be present at most footballcv.com events.
Academy Administrator - Dan Savage
Dan joined the academy in April 2008 to assist on administration having gained a degree in Sport Studies at the University of Lancaster. He has completed the FA's Criminal Record Bureau and the Community Sports Leader Award.
