NEXT OPEN DAY DETAILS

The day will be held at Nene Park, also home to Rushden and Diamonds and base for the Academy, on Friday, July 23rd.

Potential students and their parents will have the opportunity to view the excellent facilities, including the 6,500 fully covered stadium, three top quality training pitches and an all weather floodlit six-a-side pitch.
Further to that is the Sports and Exhibition Centre, consisting of a sports hall with indoor football pitches and badminton courts, changing facilities, boot room, gym, physiotherapy and medical room, offices, full equipped study centre and canteen where players will have their weekly lunches.

The Academy is of a residential nature with on-site accommodation, catering, student welfare and all transportation issues included. It is also highly supervised and run to a professional football club standard. Offering the opportunity to train with ex-international players and highly qualified coaches, the Academy caters for football development whilst providing the opportunity to gain further educational qualifications, with a BTEC National Certificate in Sports Studies.

The Academy can also offer a limited number of places for non-residential students.
Competing in national leagues alongside competitions such as the prestigious FA Youth Cup and friendlies against Football League opposition, the Academy provides a two year course, aiming to discover further talent, following a period of intensive coaching designed to improve every individual’s game.
