Conway joins Czech club

The Australian left-back recently went over for a week’s trial and has subsequently been offered to join their Under 19’s for the remainder of this season with a view to earning a pro-contract.

Whilst over in the Czech Republic last month, I did notice that the pace of the game was slower, players receive more time on the ball and technique was emphasised”.

All at FootballCV Academy are also eagerly awaiting news from Derby County after midfielder Emmanuel Oyeleke spent the last two weeks on trial at the Championship club where he was watched by First Team Manager Nigel Clough at the weekend in action for their Under 18's against Leeds United.

And second-year student Sam Irwin played this week for Unibond North side Tow Law Town. The left-sided defender is keen to secure a contract at the club in his native North-East.

Academy Head Coach, Danny Nicholls, was delighted with this recent success. “It shows if they commit 100% every day in training they will be rewarded. I’m very happy for Sam as he has shown a great attitude and willingness to learn since joining us. It is an example to all the older players here that it is never too late”.
